B.L.T (Italian Style)

B.L.T (Italian Style)

B.L.T (Italian Style) is the ultimate sandwich to cure you from the overindulgence of the night before. Here in Italy you can’t find back rashers like you can get back in Ireland so cooking parma ham, or ‘prosciutto’ in Italian, on a dry frypan is my answer. Although parma ham is not the same as a back rasher I acttually think Italian ham works better in this sandwich as it’s much crispier and saltier. The combination of salty ham, juicy tomatoes and homemade mayonnaise is just delicious.
