Seeds are a vital part of our diet. I previously posted my list of different types of Nuts and their health benefits and like nuts seeds are exactly the same. They are high in fibre, vitamin E  and monounsaturated fats that can help to keep our heart healthy and our body free from diseases.

Healthy seeds are also a great sources of protein, minerals, zinc and other nutrients. I always try and eat seeds raw as studies show that you lose some of the nutrients when you cook them.

Here are some of the seeds you in my kitchen:

  • Chia Seeds
  • Poppy Seeds
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Flax Seeds
